WHAT IS COMBED COTTON? Using traditional LONATI knitting looms, STOKING socks have a classical weave that’s been abandoned by modern producers because it takes too long. But we like that, which is why we feed our looms with the best possible raw materials. Our combed cotton is pre-treated several times before it’s even spun into yarn for unique strength and softness. Then a series of fine-hair brushes are used to eliminate short or protruding strands and straighten fibres. This means your pair of STOKING is made from yarn that’s stronger, softer and smoother that regular fabrics.
